Mini Stix Bites-Makes approx 60 bites
Great for kids lunches, anytime snacks, parties or events to sample the jerky!
2-3 cans of Crescent Rolls(You can get approx.24-32 squares from each can)
OR use your favorite Biscuit Mix-Cut into 1"X1" squares
1-6-8 oz bag of Finely Shredded Cheese
Cut 5 Stixs into tiny pieces-you can get 12 to 14 pieces from each stix( 5 stixs will give you approx 60-70 bites) set
aside.
Take a rectangle from the crescent roll package and flatten it out so you can cut 8- 1 by 1 squares.( Make bigger if
needed to fit your pieces) Or using your own biscuit mix cut into 1X1 inch squares.
Put one jerky stix piece in the middle of the dough square & top with some shredded cheese. Then take the corners
and pinch them together in the middle to cover the jerky and cheese. ( You could even roll them into a ball shape.)
Repeat with each rectangle in the crescent roll can until you have enough got your party or event!!
Place the stix dough bites folded down on a cookie sheet & bake in a 375 degree oven for 8-10 minutes or until golden
brown.
Serve warm OR make a day ahead and place in a sealed container with a slice of bread to keep from drying
out! Reheat in oven as the microwave will make the mini bite soggy.
